Ian Palfreyman bought one of our mag dynos for his Goldstar. He sent this nice email and some photographs of the mag dyno installed on his Goldie.

I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to reply to you, but I wanted to give the magneto a few hundred miles use to evaluate its performance before I got back in touch. I can say that since fitting it has proved 100% reliable. The bike starts easily either from hot or cold and with minimal kicking force. It performs well right through the rev range and even with “Clubman’s” cams fitted to my bike, I can get a smooth tickover, something that I hardly thought possible with a Goldie. It really is a fit and forget item. I went to a local classic bike meeting the other day and no one knew it wasn’t an old Lucas Magdyno.
