Norton Single Alloy Barrel Castings These are new LM25 heat treated aluminium castings in versions suitable for the 500 cc ES2 and 350 cc Model 50 Norton engines. They save a substantial amount of weight over the original cast iron barrel. You can machine them to take a normal cylinder liner or use hard chrome plate or ceramic coating for maximum weight saving. Special Builders. There is plenty of material to allow for different size liners to be fitted. At least one has been fitted with a liner to allow a 90 mm bore.
The two photographs above are of a machined barrel already fitted with a cylinder liner. The bare castings are supplied cored ready for you to machine: £125.00
