Norton Single Alloy Barrel Castings

These are new LM25 heat treated aluminium castings in versions suitable for the 500 ^cc ES2 and 350 ^cc Model 50 Norton engines. They save a substantial amount of weight over the original cast iron barrel.

You can machine them to take a normal cylinder liner or use hard chrome plate or ceramic coating for maximum weight saving.

Special Builders. There is plenty of material to allow for different size liners to be fitted. At least one has been fitted with a liner to allow a 90 mm bore.
